NIAPC COORDINATION

The NIAPC is coordinated by the NATO Information Assurance Coordination Group (NIACG).

The primary mission of the NATO IA Co-ordination Group (NIACG) is to provide an agreed staff position on NATO INFOSEC and IA issues, coordinated across the NATO INFOSEC staff community. The co-ordination is required to support the NATO CIS community, for example, the Capabilities Steering Group (CSG), AC/322(SC/4) and its sub-structure, AC/35(WG/1), and the NATO CIS Security Accreditation Board (NSAB).

One of the roles carried out by the NIACG will be to exercise overall control over the NATO IA Product Catalogue (NIAPC) and over subordinate formations (e.g. the NIAPC evaluation group). Inclusion and removal of listings in the NIAPC shall only occur subject to the direct approval of the NIACG.

The NIACG will coordinate the evaluation, inclusion and removal of INFOSEC and IA products on behalf of the NHQC3Staff.
